"I cannot categorize the sound of the Kula as cool or warm, it is just natural. The Kula has many sonic strengths and no discernible weakness that I can point to. It has great transient speed with natural decays that hover within the sound stage longer than I am accustomed to. All of this comes with plenty of body and tonal rightness. This integrated amp does not sound like any “digital” amp I have heard, nor does it sound like any SS or tube amp I have heard. It simply has its own very natural and organic sound.
Overall control and bass grip add effortlessness and excitement. Dynamic contrasts and nuances are at a new, higher level for me. It is the most transparent sounding amp I have heard in this system by a good margin.
The 3-dimensionality and detail draws me deeper into the music than my system allowed previously, and without leanness or the fatiguingly analytical quality that some super detailed sounding amps can inflict.
To me the Kula is a significant achievement. It creates its own unique categories of resolution, transparency and naturalness. It is not inexpensive, but I believe the Kula represents money well spent considering it’s extraordinary sound quality, feature set, fit and finish and the beauty it reveals in the music." Aspiration vs Reality
This line has brought up some serious considerations with us. On the face of it, wow, this gear is expensive.
However, if you read or watch all the reviews, it becomes crystal clear how superior these products are to others. As we said, we've never seen a product that has been unilaterally raved about like Mola Mola.
With that fact in mind, is it really expensive? Think about always upgrading and total that up. We're confident it will easily meet or quickly exceed the price of these units.
Think on it. Read the reviews. Then feel confident these products will be your reference source for many many years. No upgrade yearning or pressure anymore.

Kula is an a la carte modular design creating a fusion of highly technical previous accomplishments. The chassis itself is borrowed from the acclaimed Makua preamp, as is the line stage section.
Optional phono stage with independent adjustable settings and up to 6 separate inputs.
Optional DAC section is also is available in the Makua, is identical to the world-class Tambaqui stand-alone unit and features 5 digital inputs including Roon endpoint and Bluetooth. Additionally, the Kula incorporates a Mola Mola exclusive amplifier which boast an output of 150 Watts @8Ω, doubling into 300 Watts @4Ω. Clearly enough power to drive any speaker with ease.
