No current production tube can beat a NOS tube. A true statement until you hear Takatsuki Vacuum tubes and the new EAT. Without spending a fortune on impossibly to find engraved base RCA’s or the like - a Takatsuki Tube is a sonic bliss. As is the EAT KT88 and 300B. True Audiophile has these hard to get tubes.
