EAT 300B Vacuum Tubes. All NEW and Improved.
Now at True Audiophile.
Price is for a Factory Match Pair
We're pretty excited about these tubes. The plate structure reminds us of the incredible 1930's Cunningham Engraved Base Mono Filament 300B's which were beyond description. Sure wish we had a few pairs...True Audiophile mini review
EAT was well respected when they made 300B tubes. Definitely top 3 of all 300B's. Now they've returned along with refinements to this legendary tube. We have great expectations for this tube and they're in the hands of customers now.
From AVGuide: "With EAT 300B tubes in the circuit, the amplifier's performance at the frequency extremes improved pretty drastically…"
"The world’s finest 300B tubes. The only three letters you need to know" -- Jeff Dorgay Tone Magazine
The much sought after EAT’s 300B triode tube offers a maximum anode dissipation rating of 36 Watts. This directly
heated triode offers superior linearity and reliability in both single-ended and push pull configured amplifiers
The world’s finest 300B tubes. The only three letters you need to know...the EAT tubes are more neutral sounding than the other current tubes, honestly more extended at both ends of the frequency range.
I’m going to stick my neck out and bet that the EAT 300Bs will probably last a lot longer than the others. If that’s the case, then these are not so much more money out the door in the long run. And if you hate swapping tubes as much as I do, once you’ve settled on a sound, this will be indeed welcome.
... I highly recommend their 300Bs.. Jeff Dorgay, Tone Magazine. Read the full review here.
